19th Annual ACTI Conference
ACTI 2009 Conference and Annual General Meeting was hosted by the Local Chapter Members in Antigua and Barbuda on November 11-13, 2009
The conference theme was “Innovation in Tertiary Education”. The strands from which the theme was developed are as follows:
I.Learning Environment for the 21st Century.
II. Innovative Financing Strategies for Colleges and Universities in a Shrinking
Global Economy.
III. Creative Teaching Strategies: The Caribbean Context.
The conference served as a platform for members and participants to present and discuss on a variety of topics. [View Presentations]
20th Conference and General Meeting
Our 2010 Conference and Annual General Meeting would be held on November 17-19, 2010 in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. The theme for the conference would be “Developing the Whole Person for a Productive and Prosperous Caribbean Region”. The strands from which the theme will be developed are as follows:
I. The Role of Tertiary Education in Shaping Attitudes and Values
II. Tertiary Education: Supporting Youth for Leadership
III. Providing Workforce Options for Caribbean Development
